1. Party Organizer

Being a party organizer is one of the most fun jobs in the nightlife industry! A party organizer plans all the elements that go into a successful party, from deciding the concept and décor for a night to attracting the right kind of crowd for the party. Basically, if you love to make others party, this one is for you!



2. A DJ

This is the most obvious one of all! If music is your passion & you're serious about it being a career, then DJing is for you. The DJ is the heart and soul of a party, irrespective of how ever the good the venue is, if the DJ isn’t good at what he’s doing, the party will be a fail.


3. Party Promoter

A party promoter is the one who takes charge of promoting and marketing a party and are responsible for getting the right audience to the venue.



4. Exclusive/VIP Host

This job has the most glam in it! Working with only exclusive nightclubs or for exclusive events, they’re responsible for bringing celebrities, socialites, models and actors to an event such as a club launch, a product launch or for a fashion event. You need to be very careful with the way you talk, walk & work!


5. Festival Organizer

Organizing a music festival or a large format nightlife event would require you to work with a team and take responsibility for every aspect of the event. From planning the artist lineup, hiring and supervising specialists, promoting the event to selling tickets & getting the needed sponsorship & partners, all of the responsibility falls on the shoulders of the festival organizer.



6. Artist Manager

Artist Managers are those who are responsible for the DJs. Artist Managers works with the DJs/Bands they represent to get bookings and handle engagements for them. This can also include strategizing and creating marketing plans for tours or working on the artist brand.



7. Promotional Director

Promotional Directors work with nightclubs & are responsible for the marketing of the venue. In addition, they work with promoters, plan concepts, promotions and marketing via different channels that a club can employ to increase revenues.

8. Venue Programmer

A club or a venue programmer prepares a periodic calendar of events and artists, keeping in mind concept, budget and their target audience. Additionally they overlook negotiations & contracts with the artists that they hire.


9. Club Manager

Being a club manager is one of the hardest jobs in the nightlife industry! Managing the fluent functioning of the club including working with the promotional director, venue programmer and promoters are all responsibilities of a club manager.


10. Nightlife Manager

A nightlife manager is the one who has the whole package. A person who is well equipped with dealing with venues, getting sponsorships & handling DJs along with organizing parties.
